Cook the Turkey Filling
- Remove the crisper plate from Zone 2 basket.
- Set Zone 2 to Air Fry at 220°C, and preheat.
- Coat the preheated basket with oil spray and add the ground turkey. Flatten and break up the meat with a wooden spoon as best as possible.
- Set Zone 2 to Air Fry at 220°C for 15 minutes, and start cooking.
- Stir halfway through cooking to break up the ground turkey; then mix in half of the pasta sauce. Return the basket to the air fryer.
- Remove when done; then pour the ground turkey into a bowl. Clean and dry the air fryer basket.
Assemble
7. Boil the lasagna noodles in a large pot of water with salt until al dente. Drain; then toss the noodles with olive oil.
8. Mix the ricotta cheese, egg yolk, 1 tablespoon of grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper into a bowl.
9. Coat the square pan lightly with oil. If you are not using a square pan, coat the bottom of Zone 2 air fryer basket lightly with oil.
10. Lay a lasagna sheet on a flat surface; then spread a heaping tablespoon of the ricotta mixture onto 2/3 of the pasta. Top with about 1 to 2 tablespoons of the ground turkey filling.
11. Roll from the filled end to the plain end. Place seam side down into the square pan or directly into Zone 2 air fryer basket. Repeat with the rest of the pasta sheets.
12. Cover the rolled pasta with any leftover ground turkey filling, the other half of the pasta sauce, and the remaining ricotta mixture. Sprinkle the mozzarella and the remaining grated Parmesan on top.
13. Prep the Green Beans.
14. Insert the crisper plate into Zone 1 basket.
15. Toss the green beans with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper; then add into Zone 1 basket.
Bake It
16. Place the square pan directly into Zone 2 basket if you are using the pan.
17. Set Zone 1 to Air Fry at 230°C for 10 minutes. Select Zone 2, set Bake, at 170°C for 12 minutes. Tap Sync, and start cooking.
18. Remove the green beans when golden brown and crisp-tender; then immediately toss with lemon zest and lemon juice. Remove the lasagna roll-ups when golden brown and let stand for 5 to 10 minutes. Garnish with basil; then serve.
